The Indian Navy invites online or Offline applications from unmarried Male candidates for Enrollment as SAILORS for Artificer Apprentice (AA) – 137 Batch (Course Commencing February 2015 and Recruitment of STEWARD, COOK and TOPASS (SANITARY HYGIENIST) for Batch 01/2014, Course commencing April 2015. Pay and Allowances : TheArtificerApprentices Basic PayBand is Rs. 5200-20200. In addition they will be paid Grade Pay @Rs.2000/- plus MSP @ Rs. 2000/- plus ‘X’ Group Pay @ Rs. 1400/- plus DA.
EligibilityConditions:
Educational Qualifications: Qualified in 10+2 / equivalent examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects; Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
Age: Candidates should have been born between 01 Feb 1995 to 31 Jan 1998 (Both dates inclusive)
SelectionProcess: Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Entry Type: MATRIC RECRUIT - Batch: MR/NMR- 01/2015
Post & Eligibility Conditions and Job Requirements.
(i) Cook(MR) : They should be matric/class 10th passed. They would be required to prepare food as per menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products) and accounting of ration. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.
(ii) Steward(MR): They should be matric/class 10th passed. They would be required to serve food in the officers messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.
(iii) Topass(NMR): They should be VI standard qualified. They will be required to maintain hygiene in wash rooms and other areas. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.
Age: 17 to 21 years as on 01 Apr 2015 (born between 01 Apr 1994 and 31 Mar 1998, both dates inclusive)
